Maggie's was a difficult birth as both front feet were not in position, but we are very thankful we were able to reposition her and that she survived, and this little girl seems none the worse for wear. Not for sale.

Trehernes Misty Morning Enigma

 This lovely filly is a complete surprise, and also an interesting puzzle we must solve. I have heard of people having mares accidentally bred and getting a mystery foal, but this is a first for us. Our daughters repeatedly asked if Riley was in foal, but although she was exceptionally wide there were no other signs and I insisted she was not as we had not bred her after she foaled last year. However early on the morning of June 27, Mike went out to the barn and discovered this beautiful girl, up, dry and nursing! 
She is a wonderful surprise, but we are going to have to dna test to be certain who the sire is. Misty will be taller but refined, as all Riley's foals are, and she may or may not develop appy markings as she matures. She currently shows no characteristics however one of Riley's previous fillies who had no appy characteristics at birth has developed a lot of mottling, and heavy frosting over her hindquarters.  Misty will be available for sale once it is determined for certain who the sire is, and we have our suspicions as to who that might be!

New pics shortly, he is still unfolding! This colt is ever so elegant, long straight legs, nice neck and head. This mare has consistently produced leggy refined foals with beautiful heads. Calibre's 3 year old half brother, Trehernes Samurai Warrior is currently being shown in Southern Ontario.  We have decided to keep Calibre for the time being as we are offering his sire for sale.
